adsense does pretty well if you have high traffic, otherwise affiliates or subscription

After seeing some success stories I can say that if you can get traffic, you can make money out of pretty much anything, for example selling pixels on your website (Million Dollar Page).

Getting the traffic doesnt have to be hard or expensive. Good quality changing content does well in search engines so maintain your website and give it fresh, new content on a regular basis. This will also keep visitors returning to your site.
Getting traffic through adsense, and directories are excellent.
