Ouch, that is a lot of spam. Stupid bots. It would be a good idea to disable the comments, though we won't be able to comment on them unless you post a thread some where on the forum of where we can comment on the blog post(s).

It certainly is a very big issue, Im hvn the same problem with my blog, and im using Wordpress and it has an option to black list any term, words URL's IPs and itz pretty effective but not fully.

There should be a way to disable comments from unregistered users. I'm not exactly sure how to do it with wordpress, but I know that was an option for blogspot. Maybe check out their help page.
