Hi,
Today, people sitting in their houses are gaping towards the big online world of Millions of customers and are forming their own Online Businesses, which sell products ranging from paper Pins to Real Estates, the transactions are fully online for most of the things (excluding the transport of the goods, of course) and people are getting a good amount of buyers too, for their products. This thread, however, is meant for a debate of Online Businesses VS Real Businesses. As we can see, the Online Businesses are mostly meant for the personal profit of the person who owns it, and it also gets some hefty profit and customers, but the name and logo does not get an image in the heart of the customer. For example, if I buy a CD Player from some online Company, I will most likely forget the name of the person I bought it from, after a few weeks. Real Businesses however (including shops) are much more effect leaving, if I buy the same CD player from a SuperMarket in my city, I will never forget that I bought it from that place, and if the CD Player turns out to be good, I am always going to remember the shop as a place that keeps good merchandise, and if I go out to shop anything else that I can get from that particular place, I will put that shop on priority. Both kind of Businesses involve Money Transaction, Product Transportation, talks etc. almost everything involved is the same, the only difference is that Online Businesses process everything through Computers, and real businesses do it through Face to Face talking. Online Businesses have much more scope, however, and lots of more people willing to buy their product, real businesses, on the other hand, unless large, do not get as many people under their belt. Confusion persists, need your help to solve it! So the big question once again. Which is better? Online Business? or Real Business? and WHY IT |

Ecommerce doesn’t need much of investment to start off. $ 1500 is enough to get going with an online ecommerce website, has low maintenance.
Real time store would cost u anything between $ 2000- 100000 per month and buying property will cost much more then that. In short it’s always better to start a store online then buying the property or renting it and spending lot of cash to maintain it. Ecommerce provides complete automation of payment process, buying of items online. Also a person buying from website does remember it again. My conclusion is online store would be a better choice. |

in the new era, Ecommerce business is just rocking. Though there are some complications in it, like Electronic Data Management, Backups, Proctection from Hackers etc...
I agree with alex, it will cost u more buying real assets and building them in proper way. |

I think the most proper way to do stuff is to have online business first to check the trends and then people can establish business out of computers thats safe and proper co-ordination of both will take business in a long way.

Hey IT, add a poll "Which business is better: Online or Real?"
Answers: Online Real None (for a joke )
