I think of it as an ongoing advertisement, that you can change at will. This is the most basic form of website. It can be a community, a journal, a store, a resource. Websites are sort of like the buildings of the internet, they house different things.

even a simple blog for you to advertise is fine.. You don’t need any technical knowledge to start a blog and its for free..

Absolutely!

An online-presence is ever increasingly important!

It's not all about e-commerce as such, it doesn't need to be that complicated to begin with.
Just by getting your core details online your perhaps making the most beneficial/important step.

In fact, we have a small business starter package designed for these exact reasons!
It creates an online presence and fulfills all of the initial hurdles and sets the properly foundation for the future.

It's been many years since I've reached for the YellowPages (or any other physical business directory) for hunting a business or particular service down.

If your not indexed by a major search engine... well... I think there is a good chance your competition is!
So that means you are totally invisible to me - you just don't exist

Domain name registration is also important .. such as by not securing your perfect business domain name, you may potentially lose it forever!
For an online or offline business, that certainly hinders your future options regardless.

And then theres online communications too, such as email of course!
A professional business email address is a huge component of having a good online presence.
