Do you think it is still possible to make money through Domain Names?
Are all the good domain names taken? Will people pay a lot of good money for a good domain name?
Or do you think you need a (semi-) established business with a web marketing plan that has already been SEO optimised? Discuss....

most good domain names are taken, though there are still opportunities from upcoming domain names, like recently had .mobi, .travel, .jobs and more country domain name registries opening up, so you can really get good out of these.
Also you can repurchase existing domain names which you feel are valuable in future.

I think a thing that's getting bigger is buying and selling the more expensive names like stocks. People are just letting names naturally grow in value with time. If you have the bucks, buy a decent LLL.com and let it increase in value for about 6-12 months and sell it.

domain market is very unforgiving but you can make real decent bucks if you have done your homework well i.e. researching before purchasing the domain.
