I was just wondering what is the potential form adsense.
I have heard that website owners are getting half of googles earnings every time internet users click through your site.
Is that true?

I have also heard that people are actually bidding up a dollar for each click.

If some one had a website as popular as youtube or myspace could they make millions through adsense.

Hi there... Adsense is definitely a nice way of making some extra money online...

Not sure about making millions though, big websites such as youtoube or myspace surely have a nice amount of users but if their CTR is higher than others I don't know...

Revenue sharing on a forum like yours, ankur sounds great... Its a nice reward for a helpful community especially related to "business"

Although you have that doubt if people are actually posting to help/share/learn or just to increase their chances of getting adsense revenue..

I believe on another site I am a member of their adsense revenue sharing the system only gets activated after 50 posts...

The top guy is making 300k per month on Adsense on one site. The third guy is making 100k+ per month, but he's using hundreds of sites.

Yes personally I have a network of site with me with each getting a decent revenue.

There are also people who have had trouble with adsense.

I have recently read stories of Google not paying customers and accusing them of clicking their own sites to increase revenue. I have no idea if these stories are true. They are on another discussion board.

The other thread is that you have to have high traffic to make any significant money from the google ads. So basing your income source on these ads for a web site would be ill advised unless you already have a high degree of traffic.
