Default issues with popular ipo's , very difficult to get stocks in ipo

Its very much frustrating when you put in lot of money and most of it is returned when the stock is over subscribed,

when you apply for 500 stocks and you get 45 , sometime you dint even get them. When every one is after one company it surely doesn't help you get much out of it, some stocks get over subscribed 80 times
please comment over it.

I find that a lot of times when I successfully subscribe to an IPO it's some unpopular one and I end up losing money. The good ones that take off are hard to subscribe to. I think if you're rich have an account at Goldman Sachs or something then you get in on the really hot IPOs.

Agreed, the good companies go to good investment banks (e.g. Goldman Sachs) when they decide to float.
