i tried searching these things on web but still wasnt able to find the answer....so plz help me out...

1. iv always marked one thing in the indian stock market tht its movement depends highly on international market. for eg. if dow jones, nasdaq, ftse, or hang seng goes up the other sensex goes up too...where as if the international market declines our market also declines. can anyone plz tell me the reason behind such movements ?

2. secondly, recently the prices of gold went down. can anyone plz tell me the reason behind gold prices being so volatile ?

your initiative to help me out is appreciated.

thanx in advance.

Default Re: few questions to ask.....

Let me try answer them both.

Answer 1:

Share market works on future predictions and guesses, share market falls when the future looks gloomy and people sell their share best they can. Due to globalization the negative sentiments are passed to entire globe, especially of Us. People panic and follow the suit. So for Share demand <<< supply.

Answer 2:

Gold is consider to be safest investment, it is said that money can lose its value but gold never will. So the money i.e. liquidity they obtain, they will want to invest it somewhere. So for gold demand >>> supply and prices increases.

I hope they are enough.
