in societal perspective- HRM is development of human capital in a way that could effectively be used in all spheres of community.
in organizational perspective - HRM is to attract, train and retain of human capital that is neccessary in growth of an organization.

I believe HR is the most vital function for the success of any kind of Business or Service.
To march towards the success, One has to make their Human resources effective, Good, Secure and comfortable etc... All the companies who have the CROWN are all excellent in their HR.

HRM? Isn't it Hotel and Restaurant Management? Hehehe... Just jokin... We're talking about business here, Human Resource Management is indeed very important in a business. It's to know/assess certain problems with and/or about employees. Through this, understanding certain factors that affects production, quality and distribution of goods and/or services, mainly with regards to employees, will have great advantages to business. Through HRM, one can maximize the man-power potentials.

You can argue the Humans are the MOST VITAL asset a company will ever have. It requires the most attention and caring and has the biggest impact on the company's performance. Machines can be repaired and replaced and think nothing of it, people have emotions and feelings, all linking into their performance
