Default paypal not accepted in many countries
there is issue with paypal for some countries like bangladesh, african countries, and few others, paypal doesn't process transactions from these countries, do you know any other countries which are not being processed by paypal?

This is called money laundering policy of MNC bank or organisation linked with
finance.They have list of countries who support ARMS act in direct or indirect way.

Actually, paypal is making themself safe... as they are not reliable country politically. Also countries like Nigeria has been banned by many eBay members ....

I will second that. Many African countries are fraud. Lots of Fraud happens from those countries. So paypal is avoiding them.

For other countries I guess they will cover them slowly. May be one country at a time

they cover china, but you need to upgrade your paypal account with visa or mastercard, otherwise all you can withdraw is no more then 500 usd per month and 2500usd in total
i don't use paypal any more for receiving my salary, because my credit is not offcially recoginze in international payment system.

our company can accept payment through paypal though. but since i take paypal as a personal payment tool, it does no good for me now

Paypal has it's Chinese branch www.paypal.com.cn, but the two are independent systems.

Western Union is rarely accepted now on eBay and other auction sites. Especially if you want to buy cheap items. Payments online are not an easy job when you're not U.S., but there's still some reliable alternatives if you want to. I've chosen mondopay.com, a romanian based company doing the job just like PayPal. All countries accepted, service is fast enough and they enable users to easily withdraw or fund PayPal accounts.
