Good source of income for those collating the information, and a great databas for businesses making sales.

each country has a chamber of commerce and industry which carries a structured product wise classification of contacts of companies engaged in respective businesses.


most high value deals or huge projects are finalisedthrough the medium of the chamber of commerce -

with such reliable agencies available to businessmen - how reliable would generating prospects be thru websites? i am v keen to know,

I think they can be very reliable, but a web business has to know its clients. In a web business you want high visitors and high click throughs for a lower return per customer.

A multi million dollar deal is not likely to be signed over the internet or found through internet referrals

These kind of companies offer trial packages for their database. You can try that first to see if it is effective. I think the fastest way to find more prospects are really through these kind of companies.
