I used to, once, send emails to the people on my mailing list on a non profit site, on occasions, e-greeting cards etc.

Just that, never got any responses though

Sending e-greeting cards to your clients on their birthday or marriage anniversary greatly influence them. Its nice way to develop good relationship with your customers as well.

itz true that postal mails create a good image for a brand in the minds of the consumers... but then it also imvolves cost and is a lengthy process...

i prefer to send them monthly or festive season email newsletters... with really nice designs not just plaintext.. but its also important to keep in mind the overall size of the mailer...

anyways, email is my way to go for it

  • i feel the best way to send your promotional offers is to tie up with credit card divisions of banks
  • give them your leaflets to be inserted alongwith the monthly statement of account .
  • this will reach all the prospective customers and also will induce purchase through credit card - kill two birds with one stone
