Dear syxx66,
I know what you mean. The marketing industry is flooded with books promising the latest, greatest techniques. In my experience, most of them are rather like getting your fortune told...full of generalizations and vague advice. In marketing, facts and statistics are the way to go. The best books, articles and resources will include real-life experience and results to back their advice. I'm writing a few other pieces right now on some of the newer internet marketing techniques, publishing tips, and how to select the right marketing professional.
