I've never promote our business on it, but I've benefited from informations on craigslist or other free online classified ads before (for personal use). I guess it all depends on what type of business you are in. But you have to remember people that are searching for anything on free online classified ads, are those looking for good deals. Just keep that in mind!
By the way I check my craigslist everyday..... ![]()

Hello. Businessforum new member is posting here. Yes, i've tried last night to post in San Francisco but rec'd no responses. (Craigslist) I created a simple but clear advertsment employing black text on white and good traditional headline too! Result -- nobody cared enough to return an email for a free ebook. Why an ebook? Because I saw that it was popular to pass out ebooks upthere. lol
I posted in the small biz category, however, i believed that majority of advertisements were a tad 'cheesy.' They suggested that people could get rich by following a link or take a free offer -- you might have seen those before!! My feelings, you'll need to post an ad. that has offer featuring a link to entry form. I did that about a year ago with fair results. IMPORTANT -- make sure that your advertisement is targeting something specific eg. How to promote a website, Get a free website, and / or something worded with practical application. ....but do not expect a lot of response, in short -- poor mans Adwords (not seriously meant) lol |
