It's very important to have an autoresponder. Have you every heard of people talk about their "List". An internet marketer's list is his prized possession. The List consists of people that have either bought from you in the past or expressed an interest in what you have. Well, your list is built through your autoresponder. When you have a list you can start "dripping on that list. Dripping is sending out broadcasts through your autoresponder. These are messages that can be anything from announcing promotional discounts or providing some valuable tidbit of information that you think people on your list could benefit from.
In order to get people on your list (into your autoresponder) you need to drive traffic to your squeeze page. There are many, many ways to do this. Google Adwords, Ezines, MySpace, YouTube just to name a few. There is tons of information out there in cyberspace so do a search on advertising through these mediums. It will require effort but it's so worth it when the sales start coming in. So, yes, get that autoresponder up and running. It's gold when you start getting targeted people in there. To Your Success

BusinessForum newbe here posting......My autoresponder was landing messages in bulk mail at the recepient's end. I talked with a couple of people on another forum (before joining here) and they told me -- dead end. That it would continue sending msgs into the questionalble email spam area. (bulk)
Who wants that? Also, it would not send responses 100 percent of the time from my personal website. (cpanel) Or was it mail forwarding -- anybody else have this issue? Who needs poor performance? Actually, it might have been my website's fault and my provider offered no advice. I havn't actually attempted to autorespond from an online vendor yet! That's it. |

Also, I'v seen a snippit of statistics regarding working 'a list' from a dependable info. source. (generally) It is easier to get new customers to hit (respond) -- than employing 'a list' to push email followups!!
I never tried that but niche markets might prove differently. Whatever works for you. Alright. Last edited by brndx : 09-15-2007 at 11:24 AM. Reason: amend |
