If you are looking to print promotional items I would suggest two ways:

1. CafePress.com, if you want to create & sell about 50 different promotional items with out any inventory check out this company. Basically you upload your logo or design to their website, the show how your design will look on different promotion items, then you can promote this to others. This is all free and you get commission off each item that sells.

2. Alibaba.com, look up 'promotional gifts' and you will find overseas manufacturers for a ton of goods. Don't be afraid to sign up on the site and contact these manufacturers. Don't be afraid of their high minimum orders, there are so many companies competing for your business they will do anything to get your business. There prices are dirt cheap (you can negotiate lower prices & like I said you can order low quantities if you just talk to most companies).
