Hi Donovan
I think that you really need to have some testimonials on your site and you need to say who you are. Would you sign up to something on the internet if you had no idea who the person was promoting something that they don't really say what it is? You seem to be trying to use the techniques used by guys like Yanik Silver. There is nothing wrong with that. They are highly effective but I think people might think you are a scam because... 1. you provide no reassurance as to who you are, what you experience is and what expertise you have. 2. You haven't shown people how beneficial your 'product' is. Where are the people who have used it and succeeded with it? You should have testimonials. 3. What is your product? You should tell people more before they have to give up our e-mail address for you to send more marketing materials to them. People will be very reluctant to sign up for something they know nothing about. Until you do this most people will think it is a scam. hope this helps. |

It's a site designed to sell a single product and that's probably fine if someone is looking for such a product.
Can I suggest that you look at the site from your viewer's perspective for a minute here: The top third of the first fold is taken up by stuff that talks about you only - your logo and your picture. Brand building is not for small business - you've got to make sales - now. Rather talk about the reader and how you're going to make their lives better. Your headline is hard to read - long headlines are fine if you can actually read them easily - space it out. I'm not a copywriter myself but I recently read that a headline should point out a problem and show how it's going to be solved. Sounds like good sense to me. There are no reassuring details to tell people that it would be safe doing business with you - no surname, no phone number, no address, no email etc. I think you've got to have these at least if you expect to get people to give you money. Would you buy an expensive watch from a guy in the street who had them hidden under his coat? No recourse if something goes wrong. Cheers Pete |

Despite what Astaroth says, testimonials are vital for what you want to achieve...sales. A corporate website doesn't necessarily need testimonials because they have a brand to do that job.
When you run your testinomials make sure they have the persons full name and a photo. Nobody is going to believe a testimonial written by M.D. Connecticut or R.S. Singapore. It needs to be from Francis Taylor, London, England PLUS their photo and a link to a blog or their site too. Pete is spot on, what your site lacks is making the viewer feel that they can trust you. You're a small business. Just make sure people feel they can trust you. |

I've seen soooooooo so many of these types of sites and they are flooded with so much text promising you that you'll make thousands of dollars in a week, but have you actually noticed that they don't really tell you anything until you've purchased the item that they selling, be it an e-book or similar, and then you find that the contents of this e-book contain information you already know about or could have found for free using Google or another search engine.
I'd suggest, before signing or buying anything, find out what the actual product or business is first instead of relying on the promises of riches and "Financial Freedom". Find out what others say about the business, about its products and about the company itself. If it's on the Internet, someone must have signed up already, participated or even been stung by the company before you. Hope this helps. Think before you make a decision.
