SMS probably does reach even the farthest corners of the world. The only thing one has to worry about it is how to interest and/or convince it's target customers/clients to purchase service or product.

Advertising the product or any scheme through the sms is a new and very efficient way of marketing because it cn target to a large number of people, and in INDIA the number of mobile user is incresing like hell... so the scope is very big and this method is very cheap and efficient...

Advertising via Sms is really too expensive as this sought of advertisement covers only that particular individual whom the SMS has been sent. And now the service provider has banned such type of promotional activities.

I think advertising via sms comes down to two things. The market of interest and measurable results.
