The type of viral marketing I have come across is where, you join a never ending network of people passing on the message about a business or product. You are asked to review someone's business or product and in return you add your business to the list (the list drops one and admits one) . Then you advertise the list and whoever comes on board from your marketing has the duty to review your business/product which you have added to the list, then they also advertise the list including your link. The trick is in the numbers, for example if you advertise to 1000, who advertise to 1000 each, then 1000+(1000x1000) will be seeing your advert at one point assuming everyone makes an effort.Also by the time you move from no.10 on the list to no. 1 before dropping off, your business or product will have been seen by a large number of people.
