Where and how can we sell our products?
We are based in Tacoma city of WA and we want to learn various ways on how we can sell our products both wholesale and retail quantity.
Our products include essential oils,Semi precious Jewelry items,women clothing like tops or skirts etc. We have following options on our mind 1.Flea market 2.Online selling on either auctions site like ebay or free classified sites 3.Placing classifieds in local newspaper can you suggest more ways?

Hi there -
If you were asking the same question to me about 2 years ago, my first answer would have been eBay. However eBay is no longer a cheap way of starting a business. I would try to start local, markets, advertise in local Newspaper etc. From there you could get newtworking with local retailers and start, hopefully if they like your products, selling wholesale to them. You could also dropship and get other ebayers to sell your products for you. This service is in demand. You have to be really on top of your inventory though, they won't use you again if you let them down as you make their business look bad. You can also sell your products through Amazon. If you use oscommerce for your online shop there are some great wholesale add-ons so you can do both wholesale and retail. Although personally I would split the two up and don't put your retail price too low, nobody wants to compete with their wholesaler who is selling their stock cheaply at a retail price. I have also seen another post here somewhere where a company is selling your stock worldwide. Have a look for that.

Online is the best. Look into having a website designed, set up a cart or ecommerce system and start promoting!

If you are selling something in US or UK I can honetsly tell you to start a wholesale.Here in my country people are dying to buy something from UK or US.Do you know why?Because of the TAX the price is at least 5 times more here.

Online is a best way and there are many payment methods that you can consider for example plimus! Well, consider making a website where all your products are categorised and clients who wants to purchase simply add to cart then make a purchase! shipping cost is dealt afterwards!

First of all in a country like US you have to buy a web site.A web site will help you on advertisement.Especially with Google Adwords you can find some customers but if you want to sell large amount of your products and earn more than you will need a consulting company.
