hi everyone, im new here
im currently in a job with top people, im competing to produce a better invention of a product, involves alot of mental creativity and intelligent evidence to support the case the competition is fierce, but as usual there are always nosey colleagues persistingly wanting to know your ideas, pretending to suddenly to be your best friend, and getting angry when you don't tell them, and thus creating trouble with you among their friends my question is, how do you withold your ideas, not leak out any little idea, be it a word whatever, to let them know your hypothesis how do you guard your idea, and be their best friend at the same time? as a result of not spilling information (which i certainly dont have to, as they are my competitors, and which i will lose the originality of my idea)..i feel im drifting further out of the networking system, how can i balance networking with competition? Thanks in-advance!!! |

Yes, Ankur is right. Business is business and everyone has to understand that. You have to protect your ideas.
Best of luck!

I agree. If you want to protect your idea in the business world it pays to keep it pretty much to yourself. That's a really hard one though. If you find a way to keep business private while maintaining your friends please let us know. I hope it all goes well for you!
