To start from Basic :

"Yes" Every business need Customer Relationship/Satisfaction at the end of the day.

Example :
It is very easy for you to maintain a relationship since the customer visits you for XYZ reasons may it be online/phone/personal. The "Appraoch" you show to the customers matters the Most.

Secondly if the approach is good, however while closing the deal you do not concentrate while talking thinking that customer is asking loads of questions and would not help me with a good margin, so you decide to change your approach and talk direct "Take it OR Leave it" here the customer would get a thought, its better to go for another dealer where they would pay a lil more but who treats them well.

Treat them very well, never talk to them rude, no matter how much they shout at you, just bear it.
Also gift them during occassions, and invite for parties, social events.

A good phrase I heard recently is “always under promise and OVER deliver”, this way you are always exceeding the customer’s satisfaction.
