Default What is a Loan?

Loan is a type of liability. A business can loan cash or any other assets that are used in its operations. Banks are the major sources of loans. Loans are of two types:
  • Secured - This is a type of loan that requires a mortgage or collateral. Long term loans usually requires mortgages.
  • Unsecured - These are loans wherein the business is not required to have a mortgage. These can either be in the form of single payment notes, lines of credit and revolving credit agreements.

nice info, secured loans would be better .. dont wana go for unsecured and give away all stuff you own !!

loan is amount of money which is borrowed on temporary basis. It involves two people borrower and lender. Lender is a person who lends money and borrower is a person who receives money.The borrower has to pay a certain rate of interest on repayment of loaned amount.This is of two types
Secured loan and unsecured loan
Secured loan is a loan in which security is provided to lender in form of immovable property
usually.
Unsecured loan is loan in which there is no requirement of any security and rate of interest on monthly payments usually remains very high.
