Well the law seems to be for namesake only ( to convince the International organizations ).
The truth is that children are made to work laboriously and are paid meager salaries and always abused in some or the other way.

this is really not expectable.................

2day i had came across to one incident ..................

in my office one small child comes to give tea..............since three days i m approaching him for going to school........he said he dont wana go..............2day i called him and talked for a while i told him if he wishes to go to school i will bear all the expenses......and even if he just wana study without going to school i will get him all the books..........but he simply refused

actually they are innocent the culprit is the elders.....they make them work........they get their brain wash........we are right now facing the challenge of changing mind set of elders.......we should really come forward and do something..........i knw we have law, government every thing but still…..

……………lets try individual efforts make difference .................and i m sure we can make difference

There's an organization called XL that I'm involved in that works towards solving these issues. They run social enterprizes that involve developing the economy in poverty stricken areas and reinvesting the money back into education. There's one lady who does this with local crafts in Indian villages, women in the villages make garments and other crafts and some of them have featured in Vogue magazine and are sold in designer stores all around the world. The profits go back into schooling, and by affecting the lives and mindset of the mothers, who in this context spend most of the time with the children, education is much more effective in the long term. From the efforts of this one project alone, more than 500 villages have been taken out of abject poverty. Perhaps getting involved in something like that would have a more lasting effect?
