Well this is all one sided so I vote for Ricky Ponting! He comes from quite near where I live and his grandparents used to have a holiday home in the same tiny seaside village where I did a few years ago.
So I know a lot about his background. He started out very young, with a huge desire and had the persistence and a plan to reach his goal.  AND he can play cricket very well but I'm not the slightest bit interested in Cricket

Yes that may be the case. But he came good in the West Indies and lead Australia to victory.
