It depends on how important the book is to me. If the law book is too boring for You, then think about situations, in wich the content of the book could be really helpfull to You. Talk to some law student and ask him, why he is studying law (i hope You will get a positive response

yeah same here.. I can study only for max 45 minutes for concentration.. Studying should be a happy!

actually they say that if you study longer than 45 minutes your brain won't retain it as well. Take short breaks, change your scenery. Also, don't just straight read. If it's important enough to need to retain it well, then write down notes. Basic notes. Draw diagrams, ask questions...this changes it up and keeps you from getting too sleepy. Don't read in an overly warm room and don't start in after you've had a glass of wine or a filling meal. Those are all sleep inducers.
These are the things I learned when I was studying for my major... they are still useful for me today. |
