Default Indian Economy booming

The Indian economy has continued to sustain its growth momentum with the first quarter growth in the current year being a robust 8.9 per cent. While long-term growth during 1998 – 2004 averaged 5.9 per cent, the most recent three years (2003 – 2006) witnessed an average growth of over 8 percent. Inflation during this period remained moderate and inflation any expectations were generally contained.

The Indian economy is doing great. Not quite as good as China, but very impressive compared to most other countries.

I had heard this, but it is hard to tell whether population growth will be matched by economic growth.

the population of educated people in this country is increasing, also government is collecting funds in form of additional 0.2% service tax, this amount is reserved funds for education spending,
its certain high educated people in the country would lead to overall progress of the economy

India's rapid growth is sustainable but it will require efforts, including new investments and structural reforms, to improve productivity and efficiency and create the opportunity for rapid growth.
