My friend wants to get a credit card. But he hesitates what type of credit cards to chose. On the one hand, he is fond of shopping. On the other hand, he travel a lot. Can you give me advice what type of credit card to recommend?

MasterCard is also accepted world wide. Why Visa is better?

I think the major differences between Visa & Mastercard is the benefits you get, APR, features such as balance transfer, & most important is the interest charges.

Also, Annual fees is a major factor in deciding which one to get.

I'm agree with BizWorld. In fact there is no real difference between Visa & Mastercard. Their difference is only in charges and it's depends on the Bank. For example one bank will charge more from Visa cards, the second will charge more from Mastercards.

I guess you need to factor in as well how your credit report looks. If you have good credit, then you can get a fairly decent credit card from a good bank.
