Yeah,
But typically I have another card on hand. My bank isn't the best so stuff can quite often get delayed.

Well, I came across a write up in a newspaper which write about an Actress who one day came back extremely embarrassed from a departmental store, as her debit card was not working. She had no cash in her wallet either. While the cashier gave her dirty looks, she pleaded with her husband to come to her rescue.
Also, when the cashier at the store made attempts to swipe the cards, it said, “pick up card”, which simply means that it has been blocked because it’s a stolen card.

Yeah happened to me i a hotel.
I had to keep my girl friend as collateral, in exchange for permission to get the money from home. |
