After using credit card for so many years now i feel that debit card is better in comparison of credit card.
I know credit card gives 50days of time to pay your bills but you also pay a good amount in the form of interest, taxes and other hidden charges. |

Debit card is always better. Keeping a credit card with us is better because you can use it whenever u feel it necessary.

I prefer a credit card, because it expands your cashflow. In some months, after bills, I may need a bit more than I have left over.
Credit cards can be handy to invest in expanding your business if you can see profits in the interest free period. Credit cards can also be good if you do not overspend because you may et frequent flyer points. Just make sure you can pay it back!

You can only transact online using your debit card if it contains funds. The problem I see with a debit card is that it is not covered by the same protection policy accorded to credit card account holders.

I think both are good to have.
You can use debit cards when you have money in the bank, and use credit cards for emergencies or when you're running low on bank funds. One thing to keep in mind is that debit cards are not reported to the credit bureaus; only credit cards are. So, if you are looking to build your credit history, you may want to consider getting a credit card. |
