Yes, it seems Gold is safe in long term now. It downs to $620 levels now. it continously showing downtrends.

I think if the situation in the Middle East continues to worsen gold could go to $1000 easily. If Iran and Syria get involved it could go to $2000. But, then again that might mean nuclear war and if that happens, who cares - we're all dead anyway.

The situation in the Middle East is as bad as it has been for years and just when it had gone quiet on Israel's borders for a while. I think the historical link between the Lebanon and Iran is really upsetting the already wobbly applecart
