Default How do you arrange your business trip?

Hey guys,
I see many of you don't travel much on business but when you do, how do you arrange your trip? Is someone in the company who books flights and rooms for you or do you book them yourself? Do you book from a travel agent or booking sites?

We have a contract with an agency that we have to book through. The company will not reimburse us for anything booked on our own unless it is a special circumstance.

I see, many companies do that. Some large corporations also negotiate deals with hotel chains and air carriers and staff is obliged to use their services.

I always book flight and hotel by myself. I usually book by the business trip sites. Like ctrip.com.

I also prefer to book flights and accommodations myself. I mean if you want something done right, do it yourself. That way you couldn't blame anybody for your own actions.
