Exclamation Adding your Facebook url in your CV/Resume, a good or bad idea?

Hi

I'm in the process of updating my cv, and thought about including a URL to my facebook in my CV.

Do you think it's a good idea or a bad one? and Why?

I believe its a smart idea, for the following reasons:

1. If the employer wants to know more about me, they can view more info on facebook

2. Already companies start recruiting by searching facebook, so its the other way around, you lead them to your profile.

3. A smart way to show that you are prompt and adapting the latest technologies on the web.

So you tell me what do you think.

Cheers

This sounds like a good idea.

One tip: Make sure you remove the FunWall and SuperWall applications or keep tabs on what is posted, because some posted items might not be suitable for your job application.

Cool Re: Adding your Facebook url in your CV/Resume, a good or bad idea?

I think it's a great idea... Go for it, include your facebook URL and don't remove your funwall and superwall like finestinfo suggests. lol... Anyways they're for fun reasons, I'm sure there won't be any harm no matter how bad posts could be. It's great to let them see your fun side and posts there could even cause you to get hired. Hehehe.. Good luck, and you don't have to follow what anyone says. Only you know what's good for you.

i think it is not the professional way to include a social networking id in your resume... so leave it!
