Default resume help

hi everyone, i'm in the middle of writing a co-op resume and i need some help. I'm majoring in Marketing and i had a job as an office clerk. I need to find skills that i developed as an office clerk that would be relevent to a marketing job.

for example, if i worked as a waitress i could say that i acquired problem solving and communication skills while dealing with customers.

here are the things that i did as an office clerk:
-handled client files
-filing clients' portfolios in the appropriate cabinets
-photocopying and stapling clients' tax receipts

all the skills that i could come up with was
-Trusted to handle all confidential client files (not even a skill)
-Acquired organization skills while filing clients' portfolios in the appropriate cabinets
-Developed time management skills while photocopying and stapling clients' tax receipts

this seems realy dull. anyone have any ideas to spice it up? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

hi

in your case you can mention soft skill to organizing the records, good written & verbal communication (communication does not always means talking with client it also includes talking to your colleague and the skill to get the information out from your colleagues). other skill you can have is readily adjust yourself in any kind of working environment. you can also mention about any awards you have won or any small live projects done by you in your academics

In the case you mentioned, just ask for those things and skills which are required and not need to ask the extra things...
