degree is just piece of paper, if you have more knowledge then books then you win.
but yet basic qualification is essential. say basic schooling atleast
after that there are various streams a person can select.

i think if you are in profession, degree is a must and if you are in business then no degree is required becoz tacts in business come naturally without any piece of paper, you say many school dropouts really doing well in the world over and they do not have this so called degree

I'm against that theory, a piece of paper and a few years at university or college getting that degree isn't always the best. It's up to the person whether they're committed to the job in hand and their knowledge behind their skill. If someone is a good businessman and knows what they're doing, i doubt a piece of paper is going to improve that.

I don't count myself as an excellent business person but i have had basic schooling and i'm going onto further education within business, but it's just because i'd like to know a little bit more, and obviously the college parties But i could walk out now and still have the same motivation as i would if i did my course and then left, the result isn't going to change the way i look from a business minded guy.

I think experience is definitely more important. Some people get more schooling because they don't know what they want to do. I think that's a big mistake. Why would you spend all that money figuring out what you want to do. I think it's not very smart but I know a lot of people that do it and there is no reasoning with them. It's very accepted in our society today.

Don't park yourself in school.

If you don't know what you want to do, go get some experience and make some money while you're doing it instead of spending money and then still have no idea what you want to do.

A degree is great! Sometimes you do not need a degree. It depends on the path you take.

it's definitely going to depend on the type of field and company you get into. Some people will want a just a college degree, or at least an online degree while some of the new companies prefer skills and experience. As you move up the ladder though, your degree will start to matter less and your experience will be the bigger factor.

For me, it is both. And true. It also depends on what type of field you are in.

The experience is much important .But today all jobs are given on the basis of our education. So i prefer to give equal importance to both.
