Default Is the party over in BPO's?

With the U.S. market's financial crunch at the moment, what's the future of BPO's in India? We are already expereiencing Job cuts and lay offs. To add up to the woes 'Outsourcing' has become an electioneering agenda in the U.S.
Pls. comment on the future of BPO's
