I know that there is a lot of spam out there. I also know that there are legitimate programs run by good people who ant to be successful and want others to succeed. As far as mentoring goes, there is good free mentoring, you don't have to pay thousands of dollars for it. I did that and got burned. I now have a mentor who gives me his time and solid direction. All for free. We have developed a relationship, and that is what this business is all about.

I agree. Not everything is a scam. I run a legitimate Network marketed business from my home. MLM has received a "black eye" over the years because of a few unscrupulous companies, but it is a highly viable business model for certain products/services. It is now required reading at Harvard Business School.

As far as great mentors, I would highly recommend Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad" series books if you don't personally have a successful business creator/owner to mentor you.

Regarding the post subject, Home-based business is a huge market trend with lots of legitimate opportunities. Just do your homework on any prospective business before you spend any money.
