gold is one of safest asset classes to get a high and regular retunes.this is a good investment altenatives as it is giving annual returns of about 20% . due to dollar weakening gold surges on the back of assumption that after dollar lose its shine gold can become as a global currency . the prospect of gold going forward is bullish.

no way. Gold has a very if not the most objective value (that's why socialist countries ban it like capitalist countries ban heroin).

If a world disaster happened, people would certainly stop craving for jewelry as more inmediate needs would arise.

But conversely, Gold would become, as it was for centuries, the typical currency.

I'm not saying with this that gold is a good investment, even less vintage coins which are beggining to cost its mere weight. But I certainly regret not having bought the stuff years ago.

Gold wont make you rich, but at least you wont lose money (in contrast of saving in paper money).

gold is a precious commodity . this serves as a very good investment option .this is solid and defensive asset class . as going by history it has record of giving 20% returns . these days gold is trading at the highs of about 950$ \onzs . as dollar weakens it has a good head room for appreciation.

Hi,
In my opinion, if you want to invest in gold, that's good idea. Keeping gold is the same as keeping money because it's very good exchange product. Moreover, I worked in jewelry business for 8 years, the gold is increasing the price and value in every year. Right now, gold has similar price as diamond. Please don't believe me but you can search from history so, you will see what's going on with gold.
