Default Making Money in Sport.

I'm sitting here watching the cricket and Australia is doing well, but it has inspired me with a good business idea......

Do you think sports tours would make good money? If you have contacts you can organise flights accomodation and tickets cheaply, you can make a tidy profit whilst having fun yourself!

yes they do, certainly
even a 5-10% margin can make you good money, initially would have to do good promotions, once reputation is good it can seriously take the company long way, generally travellors look for nice deals who are sports lovers,

if you give good deals they will stick to you for future, big companies generally have more margins and you can fill that gap by your service.

as i understand , the travel iteneries of the cricket teams are arranged through their respective cricket boards -

so the channel to look for wl be some member frm inside the board who arranges the travel formalities for the players and the accompanying members of the team.

not easy to penetrate into this area unless u know someone inside the board v closely to induce a shift in travel business .

no harm trying though !!!!!!!!!!!! our members are specialists in using their special charms on people ------------

You're in India. Do you like cricket?

Maybe we could organise something for the next tour of Australia bu India, or the next tour of India by Australia.

i guess its for visitors not for players, those who seek to watch cricket and travel both, if you have good enough reputation from years for travel organisations for visitors, then you can try for managing tours for players and cricket staff.

i generally do not travel for sports events, but might for business ones.

not many indians would like to visit australia to watch a cricket series there - if it is a sub continent game then the hype is stronger.

who would want to travel miles to watch a one sided event.

i won't say that no one would like to visit there
there are many fans who are cricket crazy and they definately would consider going for a tour, so that way business is always there, but not that high as it can be in normal tours and travel business.
