Now, along with this, if you can also share some extra information about similar models of competitors available in the market and highlight the benefits your product has over competitors, he feels delighted. 2.) Impact of positive vibes & body language: Research says mere 10% of communication is verbal (speaking) and rest is through listening and body language. Every time we approach a client, he connects to us predominantly out of the vibes that we share. One loves to be heard and when it is our customer, always lend him a patient ear. Good body language coupled with positive vibes makes the customer feel relaxed. This almost completes the job from sales perspective. 3.) Win your customer’s faith: Every one we deal with is a human being. In order to convert your prospective customer into a customer, sales person should try all possible ways to win his trust. It goes without saying that faith creates a long lasting bond between a client and a sale person. This in turn encourages repetitive sales, enhancing overall business. 4.) Stress Management techniques Sales job comes with targets. No matter what industry you are in, there would always be pressure to meet your targets. One should ensure he is free from unwanted stress. Although we cannot eliminate the stress factor completely out of our lives but we can definitely reduce it to great extent. Time management skills differentiates a stressed salesperson from a “happy go lucky” guy. One must set realistic and attainable goals in order to keep stress away. It is unreasonable to expect instant results from ourselves. This simply opens the door for unwanted stress. Rather, one should establish a tracking mechanism to track his actual performance against the benchmark. Monitoring of performance is very vital. This allows us in identifying the gaps and work towards bridging them. |
