franchise a great investment ?

i have heard about franchises becoming more popular with a initial investment and yearly fees, say around $5000 and then these guys help you build that much in a year + profits, and they show you the projections with the amount you willing to put in,

do you think its a good investment to own a franchise of a particular feild or sector in your area ?

Ankur what i feel that its not easy to get a franchise as they charge heavy fees for there franchise fees and then the setup cost is too much but if someone can take care of this things then its become quite easy to earn from that business as then that brand name speaks for you and people come to your shop for that brand name.

very true, but once you get a good franchise the revenue generation is fast, also they do all the branding for you, they advertise in newspapers, magazines, television and more..

its one time investment but worth it, moreover depends on which franchise it is and the company group, you still have to be lucky to get that opportunity

Right you have to be lucky enough to get that opportunity as opportunities are one which people get rarely and if you don't use it there are very rare chances that you will get them back so its better to use it the time it comes to you.

Owning a franchise is a very good investment. One reason for this is that you are going to start a business will a stablished reputation. And this means that you are sure to make a profit.

The best part about a franchise is that it is already established reputation. The fees may be high, but if you get a good area, your profits should be great so the fees are not too much of a problem.

well ill give you a example of franchise, how lucky you could be,
there is a guy in my area, he started internet service here locally , he took franchise from sify broadband service providers

now he has established networks and he is earning net around $1500-2000 per month easily, he made initial investment of $3000-4000 or so that is it.

the sify broadband service provides him with their support + call center support + billing collection service, almost everything, so you can imagine the profits which can be made with having a good franchise.

Franchise works and are taken over all cities centers , the most important thing on franchise is that in most cases you don't have any risk, only the initial money you invest.

most of the franchises are not that cheap like 3-4000$ i know that subway is 75k, blimpie is the same, quiznos is 250-300k ... radioshack is 75k..which franchise exactly is 3-4k ?
