I have been involved with a multitude of online business's over the past 4 years and I have found that most of them are scams or flat out just don't work. There have only been a couple that have worked for me. I lost a bit of money trying to find something that works for me, but it was well worth it. I think that the trick is to find something that works for you.

Home-based businesses are a new trend, but a trend not a fad. With fuel prices soring, corporate downsizing, 2 working parents not able to spend enough time with their families I can see the attraction. Whether or not your business is "home-based", it is clear that the age old advice of "get a good education so you can work for corporate America" is outdated. Personally, I feel the best place to be is the guy who creates the business. If your not yet ready for that step, look into a network marketed business you can run from home to teach you the necessary communication skills you will need to create your own business someday. /cheers

I totally agree with you Ent. But it is amazing how that age old advice is so engrained in us.
The wages have not even come close to keeping up with the cost of living. To me you almost have to do some sort of network marketing/home-based business just to survive these days.
