our company is going to join the 10th China International Optoelectric Exposition in September. I have never participated in this kind of exhibition as an exhibitor.Could you tell me what preparations I shoud make?

2 things from my side -

1. Get Plenty of visiting cards.

2. Get tons of attractive pamphlet printed.

Pretending that you are a foreign visitor there , would you like to see real fiber optic componets or just models with only part of real products?Our company has been doing business in China for years but it is until this year that we decide to extend business abroad. Our products have good quality but how could I let them leave good impress to visitors?

Have a real eye catching display.
Can you have an unusual character standing at the front or side of your display?
Have you got some good giveaways so that people can contact you later?
Make sure you capture some names and emails so you can contact/follow up after the show.

Good idea! Maybe we can send them our products catalogue with small gifts.
But the special character is a little difficult for us.Thank you. I have an idea. we can start a topic about how to atrract customer's eyes with interesting even fantastic ideas. It will be very funny. How do you think?

When I said an unusual character I really meant someone dressed up to look like something to do with your product or similar- is that possible?
Once I remember someone did an accommodation display about Tasmania and used an inflatable "TAZ" the Disney Tasmanian devil! It brought alot of interest.
So I was thinking something like that.
