Read others intro for general reference and create one of your own.
Click on “new thread” and start the message with a creative title and description in the bigger message box. you can also reply and mix together with other members messages , respond to them so that they know you. Do not excessively do it.
There are lot of categories and sub categories to discuss various business sections , create your own new topics, and reply to others topics, give your views and make sure that you participate actively in the community so others can notice you and develop business relations.
Just making one advertisment message wont help you gain anything with communities, make sure to help some one or advice or either write few articles which would be of use to others. This is very important so that people in the community know your abilities and knowledge. In cse if you are offering some service , make sure to give it for free to one of the leading members in the community so that if one person likes it the rest will follow and buy the product or service, just trying to prove your service in best possible way , spamming in the forum will not help in any way.
