its 0.25 % earlier it was 0.00 , recent government polices have hiked the rates to little more, good for people there.

The only reason behind so less or no interest is to bring people to work... Unlike people who like to sit at home and earn from interest income... This should also be implemented in INDIA and then see the senario of Indian Industrial community... India will become the ECONOMICAL SUPER POWER ....
