Default Hi! Just got into my undergrad business program....

Hi everyone!

I just got admitted into my school's undergraduate business program. Now my biggest concern is to decide which option/specialty to pursue. I am technically registered in the accounting option, however, I am unsure if I should stick with it. I have taken my school's introductory accounting classes (financial & managerial), hated managerial but loved financial, but I am also interested in maybe pursuing a finance option. I don't necessarily know too much of where a degree in finance can take me, but that's where I hope you guys can help me with. I say I'm interested in finance because I've always enjoyed stocks, investments, things of that sort, but I am unsure because that's the only small portion of finance that I do understand. Accounting seems more laid out and more secure. I know about the "Big 4" , what courses to take, and that accountants are in high demand. I don't know much about finance (ill be taking an intro corporate finance course either in the summer or fall); dont know the major finance firms; etc. Could you guys offer some advice and your opinions about what to pursue? Perhaps give me some information on finance, top finance companies, investment banking, etc. Btw, I cant choose to take on both accounting and finance options because I have too many credits. Yea...I've changed majors quite a few times in my collegiate career, and thus the university would rather have me stick to one option than continue my undergrad life to 6 years -_-;;. Thanks!
