Well, if we even just look at this at a more simplistic matter with a supply and demand curve we know that as the supply lessens (as in the case of Canada's largest uranium plant) then it causes a shortage of uranium, thereby driving up the cost of other uranium products.

Expect Cameco's stock to drop significantly, but, also expect to see other Uranium producers' stocks jump a little bit. We are seeing the same thing happening currently in America with the realization that this time last year we had over 24 million barrels of oil in America then we do this year, but, the demand is up for oil is up 2% this year. This has allowed the leader in oil (exxon mobil) to experience very positive growth this week.
