This is absolutely NOT true. I worked in a call center and AT LEAST 20 times a day I heard, "thank goodness I finally got someone I can understand, when I call other companies I don't get anything accomplished." The customers are not happy when they have to talk to someone that doesn't understand what you are trying to explain to them. Keep the jobs in the US. If India or the Phillipines want to make call centers, they should make them for their own country.
